My name is Hazel and I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in the city, I attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and specialized in the Fine Arts. For my higher education, I chose to pursue an undergraduate degree in the History of Art at the University of Glasgow in Scotland.

Overall, all of my art (and life…) is about going with the flow. I mostly work from my imagination in terms of my own art, as well as obtain the drive and inspiration to create from the art I study in my courses. The mediums I enjoy creating with most are cut paper collage, pen/ink, and gouache. More often than not, I work with mixed media. Along with these traditional mediums, I enjoy using Adobe software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as the 3D rendering program Blender.

Outside of making art and attending classes: I enjoy knitting, journaling, visiting museums, and exploring Scotland.
